Help~!!! Nx80v wl100

im haveing problems with browseing the net with my clie :( i have the wl100 and got it to connect but when i use netfront to access the net it says invalid network setting... how do i fix this?? :confused:

Where are you trying to connect? If the WiFi node you're connecting through is secured, you'll need to speak with the network admin and get the SSID. For unsecured networks, just set the SSID to "any" and you should have no problem connecting.

i have a wireless router, and my clie connected to it but for some reason it doesnt let me browse the net, something is wrong...

Hmmm... I don't have a WiFi set up in my home, so this is a bit outside of my ken. If I recall correctly, there were a couple of routers that don't play so well with the WL100 (though, again, if I recall correctly, the problems were sorted out...). It might help others to know exactly what your setup is.

I have often seen this message, usually when the address i have typed is wrong or the DNS server is unreachable, the result is the same. so i suspect that the error is with the DNS trying to turn the www.... into an ip address,

if you have a router, does it have a web interface? can you normally access it by IP alone ie by typing 192.168.1.1 into your browser?? if this works fine then it IS your DNS settings...

"Setup" as in the brand of router you're using (as well as what the dude above said...). The more specifc you are, the more likely someone here will be able to help you.

yeah my dlink di 514 router has a web interface which is 192.168.0.1 and i tryed putting it in my browser and it doesnt work and how would i know to get the right dns setting? i used the one my router has on it, the clie connects but cant do nothing else
