View Full Version : Converting Clie Voice recorder files!
I record seminars on my NX80. I am able to play them back on my computer. However, I would really like to convert them to a file that I could burn on a CD and play in the car. I have tried converting them with CDEX and the result is a garbled mess. Any ideas! Thanks, BJ

Use Veritas Record Now software to make music cd's from the audio files on your hard drive. I would use something like musicmatch to convert to mp3 first, then burn to disc and play on an MP3 player.

CDEX is free and converts Clie Voice Recorder standard wav format files to mp3 format. How did you made the conversion of your files?

BJS:
A simple solution however it will cost around $30. Rather than all that converting process (and burning to CD), why not just get a little FM transmitter device and plug it into your Clie's phone jack. Tune your car radio to the appropriate frequency and you're listening on the road.
I did thas and it works great. Also plug it into the portable DVD player for the kids to watch movies while I drive and the get surround sound!

I do similar Jay, although I use one of those fake cassette tapes with a headphone cord attached to get the same effect in my car's tape player.
You can play mp3's over the car's system as well :)
You'll want to get a car charger kit for the clie though as you'd eat through batteries pretty fast otherwise :/
