Sync TT3 with V600 via BT

Has anyone been able to sync a V600 to a TT3 via BT? I have searched the forum and only found tips on connecting for SMS and Internet. (and most of those have been with UX-50).

I have been able to setup a connection between the phone and PDA via BT, and the phone is considered a trusted device. But when I try to sync (using Modem with my phone number), I always get the following msg:
Unable to initiate HotSync operation because the port is in use by another application.

To my knowledge, there is nothing else running on my T3. I have even done a reset and tried to sync right after.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

i don't think you can actually hotsync the two devices. what you can do, is send your contacts to your PDA or vice versa over bluetooth or send your appointments, but idk why would need to do that if you carry both with you anyway.
what exactly do you intend on syncing between the two devices?

I'm mainly thinking to keep the contacts on both devices in sync. I don't always have the T3 with me so when I get a new contact it goes on the phone. I'm just looking for a way to keep them consistent.

You mentionned I could just send the contacts over BT w/out sync'ing. Is there a special app for this or one that is provided on the T3? Thanks for your help and your quick reply.

yes.. in the t3, click on your contact > click pull-down-menu > click on send contact > click on bluetooth > click on your trusted V600. The accept the incomming record when your V600 asks you to accept or reject

to send from the V600 to T3 open the phonebook and get the record you wanna send > click on menu soft button (the central soft button) > scroll down to and click on send > bluetooth > T3 and then accept on your T3.

You cant syn the T3 and V600... motorola's phone book downt allow that (in fact, cant think of a single mobile where you can actually sync it with a pda...)

Easier still.. back up all your number on MS Outlook and seperately sync the T£ and V600 with outlook once a week
