McPhling 5.50 crashes

I have been using McPhling and works great. The only problem I noticed with my Clie NX70 is that it crashes whenever I tried to select one of the menu Options in application, for example. It crashes in many other applications whenever I try to do something in the menu.

Anyone with McPhling 5.50, try to re-create the 'fatal alert' by...
1. Go to 'Application'
2. bring up the 'Menu'
3. select 'Option->Preferences'
'Fatal Alert': MemoryMgr.c, Line:3583, Free handle

I don't see this error if I disable McPhling.
Is this consistent behavior across different models? or only with Clie NX70? or only my pda?

What do you mean by Go to 'Application'. Do you mean the main launcher? I can't see an 'Application' button in McPhling.
