Has anyone had any difficulty installing the netfront app?
I install and it sits there, unrecognizable (I must use cliefile just to find it) doing nothing. When clicked upon it just flashes the screen, returning to the launcher.
Under Silver 2.9 I can see it, but not with an icon, and it still does nothing.
Any thoughts?

You need to have at least 6mb of ram. Free up some memory and it should work fine. I highly recommend Powerrun 1.2

This has happened to me before and you will have to free up 6MB of RAM for the install. After there is 6MB free, the installation will proceed and then you can put the other programs back in RAM if you wish. The only way I am able to do this with all the apps I have is by using PowerRun. It sure is crazy you need so much RAM just to install a 2MB program.

I did succeed to install it with 4.4Meg on the MegaLauncher memory gage
The app is protected so you cannot put it on the stick and copy it back
I did not found a way to disable the copy protection. This is tricky as when the app crashes (and it crashes a lot) it confuses PowerRun and sometime you just loose the main PRC, so a backup of this file plus the bookmarks on the stick would help
Maybe I'll try do this with the backup SW (PIBackup2) as a one file backup

PowerRun has worked well for others for managing NetFront.
Get the freeware app Filez from Palmgear to remove the copy protect.
I dumped NetFront a long time ago as it's not ready for prime time, IMHO of course:)!

Can you provide me a web site for WebPro? I tried Handago and Palm HQ and couldn't find it. I did see some reviews on PocketLink at Palm HQ and Handago. The reviews were sort of luke-warm. Which, in your opinion, is the better of the two apps?
Thanks for any info... :)

You'll find WebProV here on Leggnet's site: http://leggnet.com/clie/
Pocket Link II is still a basically beta. The latest v2.54 update gave me fatal errors when I tried to open the app. One user suggested that I connect first, then open the app. Lo and behold it works everytime. Browsers are like launchers, everyone has different expectations and needs.
Blazer is another one, it's not HiRes, but not bad. If your a Sprint PCS customer, you maybe able to download a copy for free, if it's still there.
