How come that 3rd party launcher grow up to 4MB (ZLauncher) when started?
I mean- okay I have 11MB for my apps, but hey- this is only a launcher!!

SilverScreen is in size under 300kb installed it becomes 2,5MB
ZLauncher makes up to 4MB with a background pic.

This is not really useful.

Move you unused themes/icons to MS. I have ZLauncher installed with all options, highcolor/hr+ theme and it uses 1.3MB total.

Thanx, but:
I have only one theme(hard to get it) and the unused icons are not appearing in my file movers.
Any trick with it?

If they don't appear, then they are probably part of the theme. I don't get it, why does it take up so much on yours?
Maybe you've got a kinda uncompressed theme. Try http://hansschmucker.no-ip.biz/Clie/ZLT_Zoopie_fixed_SonyHR_64k.prc
that's the one I use
The backgrounds are located at

If you use the Theme Manager found under the menu in ZLauncher, it has functions to move backgrounds, themes and icons from RAM to MS and back.

Thank you all for your replies.
I guessed it but wasn't sure about it:
I have changed the background images, but the old ones were still available. I.e. I have now tons of layers with diff. background images. Just my fault.
I was not sure wether the ZLauncher was the reason for or the stupid NX-User myself.
Again thanx.
Would you plz tell me how do delete the old wallpapers?

Silver by the way is 1,2MB big although the programm itself is only about 300kb. The theme and addons don't make this size either. Do launcher need some "virtual RAM"??

VRAM in RAM =) . Yes a bit, but usually not that much. Icons and such are often cached by launchers.

Try the Theme Manager. It works really good.

Indeed!
I haven't finished trying all these nice features in ZLauncher.
What I found, which was a bit nasty, was the fact, that my background image was a bit too coulourful, so none of my icontext-colours was readable. I think I stick to Silver. Not that it would be superior, but more easy to use for a dummy like me.
Again thanx to all.
