Apparently, a hires beta version of SplashShopper is available from the SplashData Yahoo group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SplashData/

However, the group doesn't seem to be working right now (perhaps too many downloads?)...

Did anyone get the beta when the group was still functional who could post it or e-mail it to me?

Thanks...

Never mind...the message board is still down, but the file section can be accessed.

The update is nice, but it doesn't have everything I was hoping for...

What were you expecting? I think the HiRes+ is great.

Hires/+ IS great. I've been waiting for this for a while. However, there aren't many other changes that I can see. One of the big ones I wanted was a feature from HandyShopper: when a store/list has "needed" items, it is bolded in the drop down list. So if I have a list of 15 stores, I can quickly see which stores I still need to go to if I'm out doing errands...

I hate this, everything is down, no messages, no files access

Seems you have to change the font separately for each list. That's a bit annoying, don't you think?

I think Splash Data shut down the yahoo site!

Blaine, one of the Splash Data guys, was not aware that the messages and files were unavailable. So it appears it is a Yahoo problem.

Hi everyone,

Thanks Becca for getting in touch...

Just to let you know, we didn't take our Yahoo group down. As some of you have noticed, there have been some problems with the Yahoo group tonight, and we're not sure what's going on.

We have beta 2 all ready to post, but we can't do it until the Yahoo group is up. So, maybe tomorrow....

You're welcome. I knew it wasn't your "style" to just shut your list down not to mention it is the way you distribute your betas.

Hopefully Yahoo will straighten things out soon.
