I too will be watching all answers. I have located & installed several programs, including Palm-ICQ. Still waiting to find something that works on my T|C.

I did a search for "chat" on Palmgear and found a few, including one called Chat Anywhere which says it does MSN. Other names floating around these forums are Chatopus (which uses a Jabber based system) and Verichat (which is a subscription service - expect to pay yearly). I haven't used any chat programs on PalmOS devices, so I can't offer any feedback as to which program is best, but those are some names to get you started in looking.

Cheers!

Well you could try Verichat, it's very useful for me. I can have my Yahoo,ICQ, and MSN all logged on at the same time using this software. Beautiful!

Do not use that chat anyway. It works good when you do not have any network problem. But if your battrey is not engouth to run wifi and the network is been shutdown this programm will leave you the last thing youwant to do - HARD RESET EARSE ALL DATA.

Verichat is the easiest to use, but you will pay monthly fees. Personally, I think it was designed more for the Treo or Tungsten|W, since you are paying for SMS integration.

Chatopus is my personal favorite. One-time purchase, nice interface, and it runs in the background and uses the attention indicator for new messages. However, you need to know how to use a Jabber client (www.jabber.org). I found it was better to first experiment with a Jabber client on your desktop computer and set-up all your transports(ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, etc) and buddies. Then you can login to your Jabber account with Chatopus and everything is already set up. Any chat program will be harsh on the batteries since it has to continuously check the network for new messages. Hope this helps.

Check out Mundu IM (check Palmgear). It's not too bad
