Capital "I" in Graffiti Anywhere

Okay, I give up! How do you pull off a capital "I" with "Graffiti anywhere?" Thre are no "invisible borders" to cross.

Isn't it just "i" right in the middle of the screen for capital letters? As in "i", you do the downstroke first and then the dot at the top. I've always never had a problem that way.

Maceyr is right. If you are using the Grafitti layout with the two zones, the capital letters are on the line between the letters and the numbers. If you are using the layout with the three zones there is a special section for capital letters. In any way, the "I" is an "i" in the capital letter zone.

I think part of my confusion is over the conflunence of "L" and "I." The capital of the latter looks like the lowercase ("unical?") of the former. The first stroke of the latter IS the stroke for the former, etc.

I guess if you draw the downstroke in the proper part of the screen and you get a capital "L," you're off to a good right start. Then add the "." at the top and you have the uppercase "I."

BUT if you draw the downstroke in the proper part of the screen and you get a lowercase "L," start over, because it's not going to end up like you want one way or the other.

Well why not swtich to Tealpoint's Tealscript? Very much more customisable for your needs

I used Tealscript with a Clie years ago, and enjoyed it, though the difference it made in accuracy seemed marginal. One of the reasons I swited to the T3 was because my last Clie (an NX70V) had gotten cranky: about 3 reboots a day. I'm leery of adding apps that tinker with the core features of OS 5.2.1.

No, really, I think I'm getting the hang of this G2 stuff. It's mostly lower-case printing.

Find someone with a Palm with the older G1 files: Graffiti Library and Graffiti Library_enUS. Beam them over and soft reset. (Someone correct me if I missed a step--it's been a while.)

To go back to G2 (Why, I have no idea--it's horrible!), delete those files and soft reset.

i have graf 1 files but they are from my sony clies. will clie graf files work on a palm device?
