Have posted this in the T615 forum so I hope I am not violating any Cliesource rules by posting again here but I am desperately...
...Looking for some help in trying to understand how Palm Mail works.
Am a veteran PDA user, but until my recent T615 acquisition, I have never needed to use the Palm Mail conduit to read and manage email on my PDA. I want to begin doing this now that I have the room for it on the handheld.
I use both Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express 5.5. No problems syncing contacts, to do, appointments, etc as I have PocketMirror installed and working. My default mail client is OE and my Palm Mail conduit is setup to look for OE.
OE is currently setup with one account only, and this is the one I need to get on my Palm: however it is an IMAP account.
I had originally setup in OE my ISP POP account in addition to the IMAP account I need and when I synced, it appeared that only the POP account mail was getting synced. However, I have since removed the POP account in OE so the IMAP account is now the lone, default account, but it seems that my IMAP Inbox is still not getting synced.
Am I to conclude that the Palm Mail conduit does not work with IMAP email accounts? I have found no documentation on IMAP and Palm Mail anywhere.
If this is the case, do I have any options? Are there any 3rd party Mail conduits that can work with IMAP accounts? While I have lots of folders setup on the IMAP account, I only need the Inbox folder on my Palm.
