View Full Version : Low Battery or Audible causing problems?

Ok, I used Audible on my TC for months until I got my T3. Now I experience regular lockups, often when in audible, that require a reset. They cause the screen to freeze and the slider doens't change it. However, after a soft reset it is fine. I am begining to believe that Audible is the culprit on this.

This morning, however, I got a new twist. I picked it up after being on the cradle for a half hour and it would not respond. This has happened before but usually a soft reset solves the problem. Today nothing would do it. Hard reset, soft reset, nothing. The only difference today is that my battery was down to about 3% when I put it on the cradle.

This leads me to two questions. First, does audible cause your T3 to lockup? Second, could extreme low battery life cause problems with re-charging and reseting?

I used to get the lock up probably while using Audible on my T3. The latest version seemed to cure this though. So, I guess I have to ask you if you're using the latest version?

I used to have annoying lock ups that drained my battery over night. Dunno if it had anything to do with Audible, although I changed to the latest version of Audible during that time and did not experience any problems anymore (I guess it was at that time). Anyway, I am using the latest version of Audible and have not experienced any software problems whatsoever with it.

Best Regards,
Stefan

I do have the latest version of Audible. It hasn't been updated in quite a while.

I think I have narrowed my problems down to Audible Player. I don't experience lockups if I am sure to change applications when I am done listening to Audible. However, if I leave it on Audible Player when I am done the next time I turn it on I have a 60%+ chance of a lockup.
