I've created a couple videos using Kinoma Producer which, when viewed thru Kinoma Player, act as sort of a screensaver. Now, by default, the Clie turns itself off after 3 minutes. Could an app be written that would allow you to specify something ELSE to happen after 3 minutes? Like say, Launch Kinoma/screensaver.pdb? Then after 3 minutes, instead of my Clie turning off, it launches Kinoma Player, and loads the specified clip. I think this would be a killer app to have. If you want to see the video I'm using as my "screensaver", you can download it at www.mjpd.com. Thanks for any replies I get about this!:)

I dunno if its possible...but that doesn't sound very good for battery life :)

Hehe, obviously not. However, I tested my screensaver video for 2 hours, unplugged, and it barely touched my battery life. But the screensaver app that I'm thinking of would mainly be utilized while IN-cradle, giving you something nice to look at while it's charging or just sitting idle.

Idlehack works on PalmOS 4.x or lower.

Nice! Thanks for the link! Now here's another question, that I'll probably have to direct elsewhere...could a shortcut be created to the video file itself, that when selected, it would launch that file in Kinoma? As of now, I have to launch Kinoma, and then select the video I want to watch (kind of like opening Word before opening a document). What I'd like to do is be able to select the video and have launch in Kinoma (like double-clicking a doc and having it open in Word). If this is possible, then this hack would work perfectly for acting as a screensaver app! Thanks again for the link.
