And it is basically an SJ30. Does anyone know if its any different?

None that I can notice... Looks like a SJ30 repackaged in different color and price.

BTW the TG50 is also announced in HK.

BTW, the listed price HK$1780 / 7.8 = US$228.21. Expect the price in the US a little bit higher or lower.

Most website stores like www.sparco.com (http://www.sparco.com) have the SJ33 for under US$200.00

That's great, though I paid about US$140 for my SJ20 just a week ago. ^_^' $50 more is pretty much for me considering it's already 1/3 of $140. (Let me convince myself I've made the right choice, please... :-)

I guess Sony is doing this because they want to keep up their product release speed but found out that SJ30 is still doing very good so that why don't release it with a new name.

what is the difference between a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (Internal) which is what the new sj22 has, and a Lithium-ion polymar rechargeable battery (Removable type) which is what all the other clie's have? also what is the difference bewtween the TFT colour display, and the "Reflective" TFT colour display? one more question....i've seen pictures of the sj-22 with the bottom buttons being black in color, and other pictures showing them silver in color - whch is it? thanks in advance. -Joe
