Crashing on sync photos

My T|T3, when it syncs to my Mac (OS 9.1), crashes during the photos conduit sync. It just started doing that, and I can't figure out why. If I disable the conduit, all is well...until it crashes on Docs2Go. If I disable both conduits, all is well until the next sync, when the same happens. I tried deleting the photos prefs using ZLauncher---no effect. Also tried deleting the photos folder from my Mac.

Ideas?

I had this exact same problem - it turned out to be the fact that I was connecting the palm cradle to my computer using a hub, rather than directly. I still can't explain the reason this solved the problem, but it's something you might want to try. You'll probably also find that it crashes if you try to add any new applications as well.
