I really did drop my nr70 in the rain. I sent it off, water damamged -too costly to repair. I have replaced it with a new one. My old one's screen is really light and unusable but it appear to take pictures and process ok. Can it be used for anything but a paperweight?

remove the screen and use it as a photostand!!!

A paperweight may be your best bet. You could try to sell it on EBay and hope someone will buy it for parts. If someone has a busted Clie with a good screen, they could conceivably salvage them into one good unit.

Let me buy it. I'll buy the whole unit but if you're willing to sell the battery cover and screw that's all I really want.

Dudes, such clamour over small things.
I was out of town 3 days. Sorry guys. Didn't know my email was off-try me at topdunn@msn.com

Case is in great shape - only 1 month in use, not damaged in fall. Battery is nearly new. I want to keep the cradle etc. Consider the unit itself for sale (as a whole). As far as I know the only thing wrong with it is a washed out screen. Given the interest - ebay may be the solution. But "buy it now" for $40 plus shipping

Dude, i work at best buy, i just got a "damaged" stuff coming in all the time, just gotta wait for the right time to jump, and then beat the damn techs to the good stuff.

Just got it today. The thing's in perfect physical condition. But don't worry about me fixing it, that'll never happen. I might some day in the distant future try to meld them together by swapping screens, but not any time soon.
