Graffiti is an option you can enable within the PDA.

How do I know? I've got one ... !!! (Well, loaned one from a Hong Kong subsidiary of Sony)

Jealous? Yeah ... it is a good machine but I prefer the 665 mainly because I hate keyboards and the flap.

jealous? yes.

surprised? no.

we've known the TG50 has graffiti since it was announced-- the Sony Japan site clearly shows a type of VG on the screen.

however, a question to someone that's touched one with their own fingers: i haven't seen any photos of the flip cover flipped all the way. can the cover rotate so it is on the back of the device? I think it would be very inconvenient to have the cover sticking up another couple inches when using it...

but the onscreen graffiti takes up screen space (like they pop-up keyboard on non-hi-res+ handhelds) and from the screenshots it doesnt look as visually pleasing as the default NX/NR/NZ one

Yeah the onscreen graffiti takes over 50% of the screen space believe it or not. That can be a huge distraction. I prefer the key board though. You can always use fingers to jot quick notes.

Hey, why not give us an unbiased review of the unit? I'd love to know how everything is and how good the keyboard is. I've never been a fan of Graffiti, and I'd rather have a keyboard that is functional and works.

How is the screen size compare to T665 ? Is yours an english version or japanese version.

But, why use the popup graffiti when you have a keyboard?

If your answer is "because the keyboard stinks", then that's an A-1 reason for me to NOT buy the TG-50.  Without the keyboard, what else does it have going for it?
