Avantgo instructions please

I just got my TH-55 and love it, can anyone please give me step by step instructions on how to use Avantgo along with the memory stick please?

You should go to www.avantgo.com, sign up for an account and follow the directions. It is very straight forward and easy to do.

thanks for the tip and I have avantgo working fine but I still need help in how to use the memory stick instead of the internal palm so I can save space.

Very simple John. While you are in AG, tap the blue pull-down menu at the top left of the screen. Then: Options > Server Preferences > Settings...

Then check the box that says 'Use Card'. That's it! :)

Well, for one thing you could go to info in the menu and see if your main RAM memory has increased, and if a corresponding decrease in free memory has occured on your memory stick. ;)

Just an idea. :D

Ok guys... I am having a little Avantgo problem my self. I just installed it for the first time. I picked my channels online by logging in but after i sync and go to avantgo i get a message saying "There are no servers configured for this device". what does that mean... and why cant i see any channels on my Clie.

if you did that you will find a folder on your MS: palm/programs/AvantGo
that is where the AGDocs are stored...

in addition for saving space you can move the AvantGo.prc into the Launcher folder on your MS...
But does a TH55 user really need that? You have so much more available RAM than me, poor NZ user....

you might want to check in AGconnect (on your clie) under details, or prefs (I do not know how it is called in the english version) a new window will open and will need to fill in the server address and port#, username and pw

server address: sync.avantgo.com
port: 443
username: yours
password: your pw

yes, I use "keep wide" an application which remembers your setup for the screen...

Thanks for the effort winexprt. You are always great help. I tried the settings but its stilll not working. Do you think it might be the code diver version i'm using? I tried to download the beta version, but i am having a problem with my computer. Internet Explorer downloads all the way to 99% then stops . Its the case with any file i try to download. I need to fix this problem.
