Has anyone found any case available for the SJ33 yet.
I really liked the metal cases.
If any one finds a supplier please add a link here for all to see!!
I haven't found anything designed for the SJ33 yet. But I really missed my old Slip case for my old Visor. So I got the closest thing that would work with the SJ33. What I ended up buying was a Case Logic #PLT10. It fits quite snug, but is easily pulled out using the wrist strap. Also there are a couple of rivets on one side that could scratch the flip lid. So I make sure to put the back of the PDA towards that side. I'll be sewing some fabric over those rivets soon. I'd recomend seeing it in person before buying (I found this at CompUSA). Here's a link to the manufacturer's website:

My sj-33 came with a case built into it, I think they call it the flip cover. Why would you want a case to add bulk and size to this already great PDA? I can understand if you NEED this thing hooked to a belt or something but otherwise why?

I'm impressed you still have your slipcase. I lost mine in about 3 months. :(
I carry my SJ33 in the yellow wrapping pouch the Clie came in. I clean it with a lens cleaner and tissue paper and wipe it down with a microfibre cloth (the kind used for cleaning camera lenses).

There are several types of cases out there now. If you check ebay, you can find some SJ33 cases for around $10-12 that are real leather and zippered.
Another thing you can do tyo protect the flip lid from scratches and fingerprints is to put a couple of screen protectors on it. I took a couple of old screen protectors and covered the IPAQ plastic cover. Works real slick and still going strong after almost a year.

I take it you've never had the unfortunate fate of dropping your PDA onto the floor, or parking lot (getting in and out of a car)? Let me know how "your" case makes out after one of these unfortunate events. ;)

I drop my pda's quite frequently (unfortunately,) it makes sense I guess. Maybe I am just a little more aware of the $300.00 + peice of equipment that I am carrying with me so the whole dropping thing has never had a bad outcome.

Here at Brando's workshop (http://shop.brando.com.hk/pdaircliesj33case.php) you will find a PDAir case for the SJ33. Don't know what to think of it yet, but that Azure Blue SJ33 sure looks cool. :p

Hello,
I have a sj33 as well. I have been looking for a case as well.
The only one i have seen is the one sold on the sony website. I have been enquiring in almost all shops in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, but they all replied that it has not arrived. I hope they will create a metal one (gunmetal colour will be cool) and maybe one that can even replace the plastic top. I hope the manufacturers are reading this...

Is that what the blue SJ33 looks like that is sold on the US Sonystyle website? I haven't seen any closeups of the blue US SJ33.

Hey msmchui, how is that PDAir SJ33 case so far? Do you have the zipper version or the "side open" version? It looks like both versions of the case have a flip part that protects the SJ33's plastic front cover. Does the case leave any marks on your SJ33? Also, do those plastic securing tabs that go into the back of the SJ33, scratch the SJ33 at all? Thanks for any help!!! :)
