How do you shorten the extension name of each folder created w/in the AcidImage folder? I want to be able to see the folder's name when entering AcidImage. For instance, if I create a folder 'Family' within the folder AcidImage I want to be able to just see the word Family when I open to the main screen of AcidImage. Or I want to see the main folder AcidImage and then click on it to show the rest of the nested folders. Right now each folder is shown after the other but I can't tell what the name of each of the folder is. This probably sounds confusing. I've attached a screen of what AcidImage is giving me on the home screen. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the image groups?
Yes, it does sound confusing to me, then again, it don't take much:D!

I know how to make individual groups. When I open AcidImage...I see: /PALM/Programs/AcidImag... for each of the folders
I.e. /PALM/Programs/AcidImag...
/PALM/Programs/AcidImag...
/PALM/Programs/AcidImag...

I created in the AcidImage main directory. I can't see what the folder is actually named since

Sorry about the misposts...

I know how to make individual groups. When I open AcidImage...I see: /PALM/Programs/AcidImag... for each of the folders

/PALM/Programs/AcidImag...
/PALM/Programs/AcidImag...

I created in the AcidImage main directory. I can't see what the folder is actually named since the screen won't let me. I am using Version 2.4r. If I can recall...a previous version let me tap on the AcidImage folder and then I would see the subdirectories.

Hmm, I never have seen them! I put Acid Image in the /Palm/Launcher folder. The groups are basically folders already. So on your MS, just add folders to /Palm/programs folder.

Examples are:

/Palm/Programs/Family
/Palm/Programs/SkiTrip
/Palm/Programs/Wedding

Acid Image will find these folders and they will show up as groups with just the name you gave it. Provided there are picture files in them.

There is no need to create an Acid Image folder. Acid Image scans everything and finds all picture files.

Or how about Palm/Images/Family. etc

In order to make the folders NEST, I have placed a tiny jpeg file in the parent directory. Evidently, the folders are treated as full path names unless the parent has a graphic file in it.

For example:

My "Family" folder includes a 4x4 pixel white jpeg called blank.jpg in addition to it's sub-folders. Works like a charm.
