flash question

i want flash games on my palm NOW

i know where to put em etc. there is a problem

i go to my temp internet files so i can copy and paste them into my MMFLASH folder on my MS. so im liek yeah ok sounds good, but most of the flash games are "DIR" file type, not shockwave or flash. what's going on?
