Right stand back and give me some room please.

Okay donft bite my head off, and I am sorry if I am going over old topics.

I have received a list of wifi sites in my area (City of London) and went off to try my Clie NX70V on it, (no I did not buy some chalk!)

For those interested (also includes UK) the site is:
http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/special...s/map-city.html

Right I have used my NX70V/U and its PEGA WL100 card (US version) in the States and have linked up many a time, but never used the NetForce or linked up in the UK (other than with my BlueTooth).

Stood in the StarBucks with the HotSpot wifi and found nothing.
Stood in the Convi Coffee with the BT OpenZone and found nothing!

I know they were operational but got nothing. Now my question is this:

1. Is there something I should be doing to read UK wifi on my US system?

2. Is there a way to see wifi in area other than constantly stuck in eRetryf

3. Am I the only person trying out the City of London test of the wifi?

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

PS. Hope you all liked the link to the BlueTooth Camera Remote Control update.

I just ordered a wifi card for my NX70V and I live around the corner from starbucks here in London...so I'll definitly let you know if I get it working ...what I do know is that you have to sign up to use it is starbucks on the tmobile website ( they run it for starbucks)

BTW - the link to the wifi hotspots map is not working...would you mind updating it? I'm quite keen on seeing what is available!;-)

At last a fellow NX70V user (change your Avatar!) in London.

I just used this link:
http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/specials/wifi-hotspots/map-city.html

Will go off to the Starbucks link and sign up, but I did not even see that there was a wifi operational on my NX so I am concerned!

All the best,

Kevin

For your info I did a test at the local Sony store (Bowe Lane) of the BT Remote camera software and ended up owning the store!

Quick note just checked the Tmobile UK site and the connection is free and you do not need to register:
