ZN90 Alarms - Screen doesn't turn on...

Recently I've noticed that if an alarm sounds when it is closed (screen not visible), the screen will not turn on. The device is awake...as a keyboard press or a back button press stops the alarm but the screen still isn't on for me to see what the alarm was for.

When it is in tablet mode, the screen turns on without a problem.

I did an MSbackup, and a hard reset last night, and with the default alarms, it worked fine. As soon as I modified the alarm database in any way, it started happening again.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this?

yep, my NZ does this... i thought maybe I wasn't setting something correctly or had a check box checked where I shouldn't...

the clamshells do like laptops do.. the screen goes out when it's closed. In normal operation, close the clam slowly and watch it, it goes out at closed position.

Okay - at least I'm not the only one...:)

I'm just going to live with it...instead of rebuilding the OS.

It is odd, though, that after a hard boot, it doesn't do this with the built in alarms...
