Voice Recorder Freeze-ups

I just got through with an interview which I thought my T2 was recording, and it wasn't. It was locked up at 00:00. The Palm itself wasn't locked, but any attempt to start recording just resulted in the recording sitting there at 00:00. This had happened to me once before and is totally unacceptable for my job. It didn't matter if I was recording to internal memory or a card - no budge. A soft reset fixed the problem, but until I figure out what's going on, this means I can't count on my voice recorder.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas how to fix it?

I've just discovered that the freeze-up happens right after I load songs from an SD card into PocketTunes. It does not happen in Aeroplayer.

Though it looks like no one is really interested, I'll post this for the record in case it helps someone in the future.

Apparently, there is a bug in the T2 that makes the voice recorder lock up after certain actions are taken, such as when Pocket Tunes loads its songs. Aeroplayer and RealOne have apparently worked around this bug. Pocket Tunes has the workaround on the agenda.

Just because I like being the only one on a thread...

Despite what Pocket Tunes' folks told me, Aeroplayer and Realplayer do both cause the same lockup. I've managed a quick workaround. Using the freeware "Soft Reset," I can now quickly and easily force a soft reset on the T2 and have it instantly turn on to the voice recorder, so if it ever screws up on me again, I'm just ten seconds from a fix. Not ideal, but it works for now.

Yep! I bought it last December. I noticed the problem about a month after. But the place where I bought it won't replace it because they don't sell T2s no more.
