View Full Version : Any Tungsten C or W rumors?

I keep hearing about the T4, and occasionally an E2, but nothing about the keyboard models.
The C and W are so bulky compared to my sleek TE and old T615C, so I'd love to see a slimmer C, or even a W (although I fear the Treo has killed the W).
palmOne sales emails are featuring open box C and W models, so it make me think they are running low on stock (or had lots of problems). Any rumors to keep me going?

As a new C owner (former NZ90 owner) the C is most impressive for me. It has few updates/patches of any PDA I have seen. It works flawlessly (except for an icon hiccup) for me and the screen and battery life just blows me away. I spent basically two days playing games and still have half of the battery charge. Couldn't do that with any of my IPAQs or Clies! The screen brightness and battery life is what drew me to the C rather than wait for the T4 if there is one.
After using the IPAQ and NZ90, the C is small for me and real comfortable in my hands.
However I do admit I am getting use to not have the home screen at the bottom and having to use the built in keyboard after some grumbling.
Still having save $200 on it I am a very happy camper with it.

I'm waiting for those rumors also. But I wonder... maybe Palm is going to replace the T|C with a version of the Treo without a phone in it!? I haven't heard anyone suggest that, but wouldn't it save Palm some money on product development and production if they did that?
But whatever they do, I hope a T4 and budget models aren't all they have to offer with OS6. I'd like a power PDA clamshell or something with a keyboard and wifi. I guess even a T|E2 would be okay. For my taste it's gotta have decent battery though, even if I have to give up the wifi.
But I'm starting to get concerned about the lack of rumors. Does that mean there's a T4 and Treo, but everything else is on hold?
