I love babelfish translations. They always make me laugh.

I couldn't really make out what was being said. But, I believe it was mentioned that it had a CF slot adapter. Wonder exactly what that is.

I actually could understand some of that. Probably because I took Japanese and a few other foreign languages in college and came up with even worse direct translations I'd later have to sort out into sensible English. :p
It would seem the reviewer found it challenging to hold the device and use the keyboard efficiently. There is one part of the translation that doesn't come through...but I think he says it's hard to use this XXXX while simultaneously trying to enter data via the keyboard. I don't know if he means the stylus or jog dial or what.
Another thing I think I read from the translation is that the TG50 is compatible with quite a few accessories that are available for the existing T-Series Clies. Assuming I read that correctly, I guess that's good news for people seeking to upgrade from their current models.
My personal favorite part of the translation:
devil SONY does not make conversely without fail
Yep, that darned Devil Sony!
Thanks for posting the link to this review. It was funny, interesting, and I enjoyed the photos. I'm really interested in the TG50 and can't wait to see it in person.

i stopped trying to make sense of these Japanese translations a long time ago, the photos are definitely great. the size comparisons to the SJ and T665 were very useful.
the sentence structure reminds me of engrish (http://engrish.com).

He was just pointing out that there is a connection point for the WiFi sleeve.
His comments regarding the keyboard where that it was difficult to move between the keyboard and the jog dial. However he held it he couldn't find a natural position for his hands to use both with ease. On top of that he could imagine it being difficult to use on the train; it's not a one hand device. Saying that, his overall impression was very favourable.
I'll pop round to the Sony Building next week to check it out for myself, I'm pretty certain I'll be buying one next Friday.

For those that can read Japanese, what does the reviewer say about the buttons on the device? Are they like the T665C or improved? Please tell!

being in japan for quite some time, im already quite used to japanese, and here are my own translations
From Topmost LEFT to RIGHT

speaking of the rumored keyboard design and the hardware buttons. of all the buttons, the center button (the up/down) one is the most raised. moresoe, aside from the four major app buttons, and the up/down buttons, one could also find two new buttons at both sides -> "home/menu" and the "keyboard/search"
17th pic
concerning the backlight-enabled functionality of the keyboard, i think that it is an orange color.
18th pic
i must apologize for the unfocussed picture (not well down shot), but here is the shot of the keyboard. having a transparent and illuminated keyboard, one could clearly make out the other symbols surrounding each keys - meaning it it would be easy to perform non-alphabetical keyboard combinations
19th pic
though the center button (up/down) is most pronounced among all of them, it find it quite difficult to use. though i could use the jog dial, the design was really meant for two hands. i would have wished for a better design.
20th pic
another pic shot of the keyboard which i find it quite similar to the nz - you could just feel that "click" when you press a key; and quite easy to use.

Thanks for the information. I'm considering learning Japanese, and visting Japan sometime just so I can see and use the new Gadgets that come out before they hit here.
