I've done a search and haven't found anything, although I do remember reading something about this topic back on Cliesource about a year ago.

Now that I need to actually use the alarm on my NZ I can't find those original posts...

...so, how the heck do you set an alarm to go off on our NZ's??? I've read the manual, no luck... doesn't seem to work the way the manual states.

I've tried using Datebook, World Alarm, and To Do List. All w/ no luck... oh, and yes I had my sound turned on!!

hmm...

let me ask this, is it possible to set an alarm to go off with a sound on our NZ's?
-and if so, how???

crazy...

we've got these cool devices that play music, take photos and video with sound, play 3D games, can log onto the internet, control the DVD and TV, play Flash cartoons and movies,
...but they can't SET A SIMPLE ALARM!!

Do you want to use your NZ90 as an alarm clock? Is that it?

I've been doing that for a long time already. I use the WA program bundled with the Clie. In the program, do you notice the the times (default is 12:00AM) to the left of the analog clock? Tap on the little dot to the left of it. You'll open the settings menu to set your alarm.

I hope this helps.

:) Yep, I'd like to use my NZ as an alarm clock!

I tried using WA the way you mentioned, but the alarm doesn't seem to go off? Yes my volume is on and not muted?
I guess it's just my Clie then??? :(

Did you check the preferences? Maybe you disabled the alarm.

If you've been through the settings and still haven't gotten it to work, I suggest you have it checked out already.

okay, got it to work.

I guess I didn't realize but my WA was loaded onto my memory stick. The reason I didn't realize this is that WA works fine from the MS, except for the alarm function!

Now that I've loaded WA back to my Clie's internal RAM it seems to be working great!

thanks,
