I downloaded the latest version of the Palm/Clie Simulator from the Clie Developer Site about a week ago. I went back to their site today to see if they had a TH55 ROM image that I could download, but they have closed their developer site to new registration due to the fact that they are going to discontinue the Clie. Is there anyone out there that has a TH55 ROM image? If so, could you please send it to me (DustinZack@msn.com)? Thank you!

Someone at the Sony Developer's forum said this:
POSE is a hardware emulator for 68K-based devices.
Palm OS 5+ devices use ARM CPUs, and there currently is no hardware emulator available for Palm OS ARM devices.
There is, however, the simulator. The simulator is not an emulator. Although the simulator does use ".rom" files, these are not ROM images from devices, and they are completely different from the .rom files used by POSE.
By nature, the simulators typically represent generic hardware, not specific models. (Having to build a separate simulator for each model and having to support them would be a lot of work.)

I'd also like to get a copy of the Clie TH55 ROM Image, not to use it on an emulator but to reflash my Japanese TH55 to a language I'm more familiar with. If anyone has one, or can get an image off their TH55 using something like the "ROM Transfer Extension", that's be great.
ps. And some info about a reflashing program that works for the TH55 please. ^_^

There is no such "reflashing" program for the later model CLIEs.
JackSprat (the program commonly used for this) does not support any Palm OS 5 CLIEs.
