MMplayer problems

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong! I'm using VirtualDub to make AVIs for MMplayer using Divx 5.11 and various audio compression methods. But everytime I try to play them in MMplayer I get the message An error caused System 0505, please contact developer. Is it me? Or is MMlpayer VERY picky about the way movies are produced? :confused:

I haven't had time to confirm this (i have to run now), but you may need CliePet's MCA for MMPlayer. IIRC, MMPlayer removed the Clie support after CliePet released his external MCA? I will try it out to confirm when I get home later tonight.

EDIT:
The latest version of MMPlayer kept on giving my TG50 a soft reset whenever I tried to play an MP3, so I'm not sure how MCA2 affects it.

I'd just recommend trying out CliePet's MCA2 and see what happens. I'm rather lost right now in regards to what's happening with MMPlayer's Clie support.

I remember that when CliePet first released his SDK, the MMPlayer guys quickly incorporated it into their code, which worked.

However, I really thought that I remember seeing somewhere on the MMPlayer site something saying that they removed the MCA1 code, and that you should use CliePet's external MCA2 instead. However.. I checking again, I also think that I saw something about adding Clie support again? Not sure, but trying out the MCA2 shouldn't hurt you.

So I've got the same MMPlayer problems. I've installed MCA 2 and am using the most current MMPlayer as of today. I get some odd MCA 2 error message then reset. What to do? Do I need to encode at 8Hz? I thought this was fixed with MCA 2. And from what it seems, MMPlayer doesn't directly support Clies anymore, but lets MCA 2 do it. No?
