My Palm is acting up, I cannot boot it up or shut it off. I don't want to do a hard reset but it is looking like I might not have a choice. Anyone know what this error means. By the way Palm needs to hire some more support personnell I have been on hold for 20 minutes

Just do a REGULAR (soft)reset - poke the reset hole in the back(bottom) of your PDA. That's all you need to do. You won't lose any information at all.

Oh, and reading the manual would probably be a good idea too! :D

umm I did do the soft reset. I guess I should have mentioned that. I guess I just assumed everyone would know that I tried that. Anyway I wound up doing a hard reset and it booted but when I was synching I got an error message as well. I had to get out of work quickly so I didn't worry about it. I will work on it tomorrow.

I also had to hard reset my SJ33 once because of one of the recent version of YiShow Explorer (not the latest). Soft reset wouldn't help, I still get a blank screen. So hard reset seems the only way. Problem doesn't stop there though. I've problem backing up all the databases from the Backup Folder. Until this very day, I still dunno why I can't just backup all the dbs and prcs in the Backup Folder?

Recently my bf's SJ30 was soft reset while we're on vacation because he forgot to charge it. When we came back, I've the same problem with hotsync, ie. problems with backing up all the dbs from Backup Folder to his Clie. Anyone has any experience in this and have solved the problem? :(
