Where? I couldn't see anything on that site. Is it the "Saguaro Platform"? Clicking on that banner just gave me a blank page (using Safari).

that's strange....I'm using Safari too. It is from the makers of Contacts 5 and it's called Life@Hand. Supposed to come bundled with a bunch of apps.

Me, too. Blank page. Well, Duh! Instead of "coming soon," should be "be here directly, keep yor britches on."

OK, that website worked for me. Not much information though... Let's see later this year.

Those of you who are familiar with the great app Contacts 5 and the new great app ToDo Now from PDA Performance should be aware of a new PIM that they are working on. It is called Life@Hand and it is going to contain some "revolutionary" concepts for a PIM, along with having the best of both DateBk5 and Agendus.

You can find out a lot if info from this link specifically for Life@Hand:

<http://www.lifeathand.com/>

and

You can find out a lot of info from the forums at PDA Performance with this link:

A beta is due out in the next 2-3 months and then a very quality program should follow shortly there after.

I hope it can duplicate the linking property of Datebk, showing name and phone numbers in the event. I've looked at several including Agendus and own Beyond Contacts, both with slicker interfaces than Datebk but in the end it's about functionality. No switching to a different screen to find the number, it's displayed there with the event in Datebk.

Maybe I haven't read enough, but icons sure seem a lot more effort than they are worth. I haven't found a way yet to organize that doesn't mess up set icons if you add or move some, or to arrange them in groups in the same database that make sense without considerable plotting ahead of time. So far, it hasn't been worth it to bother.

My biggest beef with Contacts which I use is how much of the screen real estate is taken up by options vs showing data. Again, I haven't had much time to pour through the manual but the option selection bars seem huge compared to the space used to show data. Overall, easy to use but it's a toss up. I have T3 and can expand by opening slider, but still....

Look forward to seeing the product.
