Memory Stick

I've just noticed a problem with my memory stick. I'm running Yishow on a NR70V, 128MB MS.  When I access the files on the memory stick, and I try to open the MSAUDIO directory, the Clie hangs at the window which says do not remove memory stick, accessing, and shows a progress bar. The bar doesnt move and it just hangs. I'd appreciate any help.

Do you overclock your Clie?

I had a similar problem and the thing that worked for me was to run MSImport, Access the Memory Stick from my PC and back up all the files I could read, Format the Memory Stick, Restore the files.

It turned out that one of the files was corrupted and caused the hang-up (BTW, I couldn’t back it up).

No I don't overclock.

I guess I'll try Ami's suggestion.

I am able to access the mp3s through the audio player and such.

What program do you use to backup your MS stick?

Windows Explorer:

I select the content of the MS drive (it appears in my computer as soon as I start the MS import on the palm), copy and paste to a backup folder on my hard drive.

Yea. It just can't be any easier than drag & drop files.
