Was wondering:
A) Who the PA's are out there, and what specialty they are in

and
B) What programs you like for the NR/NX?

Thanks...

I've used a Palm for the past 3 years as a hospital-based CVPA. On a daily basis, I use Patientkeeper for tracking all my patient data. As you may find, there are a lot of different patient database apps out there, some better than others. I tried most of them and settled on Patientkeeper because of speedy data entry and access. I've stuck with the old version of the software which is just one app. One huge setback is that there is no desktop program for accessing the data. This would be convenient for office use (coding/billing, morbity/mortality, etc...) and I believe is addressed in the newer version. I also use ePocrates for drug references. I've tried ALL the different apps out there, and ePocrates is great, again for speed and simplicity. The basic program is free, and an expanded version is $50/yr. Most clinicians I know use it daily. I've got a large number of other apps, with a big library of med texts stored on my SD card (I've recently switched from an m515 to an NX70v and can't wait for the the 1GB memorystick!), but I access those less frequently.
