since i started using zlauncher abt a month ago, i've noticed this ZlauncherDB file growing from 120k or so to over 200k now.

does anyone know what exactly this file is for? i imagine it's some sort of icon cache since there are already other files for category orders, deleted list, favorite list etc.

also, is there any way to compress this baby? seem it can only expand and not reduce!

the database file for zlauncher. sorry, that is about as technical as my explanation gets but I know it is important.

Do a refresh to resize it. You have it figured out as a db to track the Icons and links. It's there for speed, otherwise everyone would be howling how slow it was. Mine is something like 360K in size.

BTW, this is common to ALL launchers, even the OEM default Sony Clie launcher.

Very true, but only when stuff is deleted should it reduce in size.

too many apps i guess. oh well, zlauncher is worth every bit of space it takes up.
