Did any of you guys know if bluetooth functions of UX50 would work properly with SE Z600. I know it works great with the t610. I am cant decide between t637, t630 and Z600. Thank you.

I use the z600 w/ my UX50. I use it to connect to the internet. Don't use it for anything else though so I wouldn't be able to help you there.

Thanks alot serpentny. Can you please telll me how do you like the Z600 phone.

Its good that we can connect online, the thing is you can do alot of cool things having both UX50 and the bluetooth phone. I am wondering if you can send SMS messages, dial numbers from your UX50 using Z600. I know we can do this using t610 and t616.

I just tried dialing using clie, works fine.

sending sms also worked fine. :)

And I like this phone. Sturdy, reliable. Sometimes the interface could be a tad slow :-/. Seems to be the case with most SE phones though.

I will probably go with this combo in a matter of weeks, so it's nice to know that it works.

Thanks guys.

Thanks alot for the reply guys. I was planning on getting either Z600 or the t630. I got the t630 as a present yesterday, yipiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. And its true, apparently SE phones are a little slow, but the same problem was worst with my Siemens phone.

I'm having trouble with the Z600.
i even d/l the Z600 phone driver for pda. I tried to send sms but it tells me it can't even find the phone. i already paired the phone and the UX-50 up too but it still doesn't work.
Can you tell me the steps you did to make it work?

Thanks

I've been using the Z600 with the UX50 for about 6 months... or so. Everything works great. The SMS function makes sending messages alot easier since you can type them out on the UX50 and hit send and it sends them to the phone and out to whomever automatically.

As far as the phone is concerned you wont find any bad reviews because it's a great phone!

I wanna ask you guys about the drivers. I hear you guys mention them alot but i never downloaded any. I tried looking at SE website but no real luck.

My questions are:

1. What do we need the drivers for?
2. Is there a specific one for the SEt630 or can we use the one for the t610? 3. Are there different drivers for different applications?
4. Where can we get the drivers?

I'm sorry toKS,,, I'm having trouble sending SMS my self using my SEt630 and UX50 . I hope somebody can help us out. Thanks alot guys.

Very surprised with some quoting everithing is fine and some others (like me can't make it work.
Just posted the following yesterday:

I have tried to connect to the web and send/rcve emails thru my Bluetooth connection of my S/E Z600 using generic phone driver but no success.

Today I downloaded a driver called Sony EZ600, installed it, but now I can't access the "connection" window on my Clie. Tried to delete driver, but it refuses to go. Clie says the file can only be read.

Can someone help me first to delete faulty driver and then advise me how to connect safely with my Z600.
Thanks

to my knowledge as long as you configure it right any SE driver will work with and SE phone. i was able ot use the T68 driver with the Z600 and T616

One then begs the question, what is the "right" configuration. I can't get my Z600 to mate w/ my ux at all.

Granted, over in Toronto Canada, Rogers doesn't carry the z600 phone, only Fido does. Would that be why I can't even dial from ux to my z600? Transferring pix from ux to z600 via bluetooth is okay, just not phone functions.
