I was in PC World playing with my TH55's BlueTooth when I found some device called "Logitech diNovo Keyboard" or something similar.

At the point I remembered someone posting about a program called BTKeybd, so I went and hunted for it via NetFront, quickly finding it on FreewarePalm with the help of Google (Link: http://www.freewarepalm.com/communication/btkeyboard.shtml)

Downloaded it, installed it, then hunted round the store for this BT keyboard!.

Found it, loaded BTKeybd and held down the Connect button on the bottom of the diNovo and tapped "Find BT Keyboard" on my TH55.

And it found it! Connected, established encrypted channel etc.

Excited, I go into Memopad and start typing away.

But Nothing Happened!!!!!!!
I got a connection alright, even said HID Keyboard device connected in BT Keybd, but nothing I typed came through! :(

So, erm, any ideas?
It would be neat if it worked because I could use it for both my PC *AND* my TH55 :D
Although I'd be more inclined to buy a Stowaway, except I don't know if the BT version works with TH55 either...

Did you notice the sentence
Freeware version has letters A and Z unmapped.
on the download-page of BTkeybd on freewarepalm.com?

I have no Idea what the heck this is good for - since there's no way to "register" this "freeware".

That's exactly the type of "freeware" noone really needs.
It's just stupid to name castrated demo versions of commercial programs (that are not even available at all...) "freeware"...

Sorry, couldn't resist...

Yeah I noticed it too lol!

I wouldn't have minded so much it it actually worked 'tho... I can't help wondering if it was just a hoax program. The website it mentions has no trace of the program AFAICS!!
