Hi, I purchase the clie, but the cd only comes with win sw, not mac, so when I try to install my new clie, of couse there was not sw, so can you use the sw (palm desktop) from palm.com with the clie
(sorry for the dumb question, but new with the clie)

get missing sync http://www.markspace.com
it is the best way to get the best pda (clie) to work with the best computer (mac - duh!)
others may whine, but for me it has always worked with much fewer problems than any other program i use.

Parmesian is right, The Missing Sync is the universal solution to the problem, BUT : If you got, like I did, a Clié sj30 to synchronize with your iCal and Address Book (Mac OS Jaguar), you don't need Missing Sync, iSync is perfect for this job.
But, one day, the temptation will be there to transfer your favorite fictures from iPhoto to Clié and therefore.... The Missing Sync is needed.
The next day, you might think about Word or Excel files and therefore,.... " Documents to go " is needed.

There are workarounds to the missing sync issues. Basically, all you have to do is invest the $17 or so for a MS USB card reader. When you do that, iPhoto and iTunes (if I recall, didn't really try this) work fine.
I have the NZ90 and the whole things works as advertised.
