Zire71 - Dead Speaker?

Recently, my Zire71's speaker has stopped putting out any sound. The headphone jack still works perfectly, which leads me to think the speaker is dead. Are there any alternative reasons I could be missing? I don't want to admit my PDA's become semi-crippled. :(

No, most chances the speaker is not dead. The headphone jack has a mechanism that siconnects the speaker when you put your headpones in. So is some cases i can stuck , and not connect the speaker again. Just try to put in/put out a jack some 100 times also try to blow the air uder paressure into the hole.
