View Full Version : mystery files.. would appreciate help

I have tons of files on my Clie's internal RAM. That's fine and dandy. The problem is that some of these files are left over "orphaned" files from programs that I have already deleted. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could help me identify the application each of these files is associated with so I can tidy up my memory!

Yes, get the freeware app systool from Palmgear so you can look at the Creator ID's.

Then you can look them up on this database:
http://dev.palmos.com/creatorid/

Delete at your own risk. I always delete apps from the OEM default launcher. There is an app you can install to track new software, but I don't remember the name, but it's in this forum somewhere.

Address Companies - I think TealPhone creates this
Beiks - search Palmgear, for a Beiks app that you may have installed
IB - these are IntelliBooger plugins

So the IBP's look like DiddleBug, the DV and DG look like Documents to go, C4 is a calculator and the rest I do not know off the top of my head.
