Ram left on NX-70V out of the box

I want to buy a NX-70V.

I much RAM is left out of the box, with all the clie programs, like
cliememo, cliefiles, cliealbum, ms backups, etc.

Buy a memstick, and consider it part of the cost . . .

nah, out of the box sony leaves you with about 7.5mb, the other is taken up by the camera/movie app, the clie apps (viewer, notepad, etc) , ms import, the filemanager among others....

I concur, that you have 11 megs to start with. One caveat is NetFront, that takes up far too much memory and it has issues!

Yup, if you're gonna choose to install that, make sure you do it first, as it the installer needs 6 meg free (it's not THAT big, but for installing....)

I consider it big enough, between the app itself, plus maybe up to a meg of temporary cache, it can hog 3 megabytes of RAM and it CANNOT be moved to the memory stick. All this is IMHO of course, ;)
