s300 not working after installing nx60 and new desktop

I keep getting the message:
USB switcher not installed yet. End session for USB switcher installation.

I made sure that hotsync and usb switcher were not active in the task bar.
but, I keep getting the same message,

Any ideas?

make sure you download the updated version of palm desktop (4.1 i think). It fixes the problem of connecting multiple palm pda's with the NX.
