Are there any Free Viewers that work with Fire Viewer type files. I think $30.00 US for the viewer only, is a bit unrealistic. Anybody know of a free or reasonably priced viewer to handle that format?

Thanks

Sorry, this post is off topic, but I am hoping Ricon specifically can help me out. Ricon, I found an old post of yours on cliesource and I was hoping you might be able to shed some light on my dilemna......

I own a copy of digitalglyph's pop! on my os4 machine. Being in Canada, couldn't purchase through palmgear, so I bought it directly from developer (and it cost more than it would have otherwise). I received a copy of pop!2.94 directly from developer but didn't need a username/password. Now, I have an Os5 machine, really want to use Pop! for Os5 but can't get ahold of developer now and certainly don't want to pay for a "free upgrade" when the orginal copy cost more than usual.

I noticed that you knew the link to the free upgrade. Chances are you also knew a username/password. Is it possible for me to borrow that u/p or get you to email me the upgrade? I can send you my original copy as verification that I owned a regged copy before you send me anything....

Please help if you can, I really liked that app alot, and would certainly like to continue to use it.

Thanks gor any assistance you can offer

Cyanide you should contact CIC, They are very accomodating and if you follow the link from that post you will be able to contact them. They do not charge for upgrades for OS 5. ALSO As a Canadian I have purchased many programs from Palm Gear. Why you can't is a mystery to me. I hope this helps. But! I would never, ever, give anyone my reg codes, user name etc. under any circumstances. UNLESS  ..... if you gave me the name of your Bank, Your Account number, Your Debit card number and PIN, Oh, and your mothers Maiden name well we could have a deal. Of course I would have to confirm that funds were available to be drawn from said account before I could fulfill my part of the bargain. ;)

OK OK, sorry....thought you might be able to help out without compromising your own security. I apologize if it seemed that I was demanding. I personally can't remember either why I couldn't purchase through palmgear (maybe it had to do with refusing my postal code for not being American, remember this purchase attempt was maybe two years ago) but I know that I tried multiple times before contacting the author directly. I will try this CIC (once I discover what the letters stand for). Sorry once again for the inconvenience.
