I just got my Belkin G700 and am pretty happy with it. It's definitely beta and slow, but better than nothing! (I do also have a problem with the space bar registering; hopefully that's part of the typing speed issue)
A few posts back someone asked about keeping the CLIE on while typing - there was a post a few months back on debug commands in the Palm OS, which included one that just kept the Palm on. It's pretty cool - I copied the website info into a word doc for safe keeping ;) - I've attached it here.
by the way - if anyone at Belkin hardware is reading this; it'd be nice to have a slot or "stylus well" to hold the stylus, since we still need it for a few commands. Especially for the NX where you can't get to the stylus while the CLIE is attached to the keyboard.
