I am like you, I am so excited to get my first PDA. I waited a long time because I couldn't justify using it enough but, when I heard I might not be able to get the ux50 if I waited, I purchased one. Are you a techie? It seems like I am not getting anywhere using my PDA because it take so long to learn the intricacies I wish there was a class. How much time are you spending trying to figure out all the features?

Only thing I can suggest to both of you is to stay here in the UX forum & READ, READ READ everything you can on the UX50. :D

Congratulations, Khad o. I'm a new owner myself. I discovered the UX-50 while trying to find a back-up Diamond Mako (rebadged Psion Revo Plus) which I dearly love. Didn't take me long to lose my love, however, when I found the UX-50. If you know of anyone who's looking for a "like new" (though I've used it faithfully for the past 3 years) Mako, with two cradles, 56K wireless modem, extra styli, all software (for unit and modem), all manuals (unit and modem), and power supply, just let me know. :D

hmm..hi grayton. same like me got mine as soon as i knew they were on clearance sale :D. i have not been online since i got my ux(keep playing with my pda :) ). im doing good so far. i made it a point to read the manual thoroughly 1st whilst playing around with the ux50, before i move on to the forums(a whole lot more reading!). imediately installed uninstall manager just in case i made downloading errors.

so far ive got the basics like to do list, address, basics!!(it is my 1st PDA). ive managed to hotsync had a few troubles at 1st but now im doing fine. ive even managed to download music to my ux(mind you may need a card for that, ofcourse i may be wrong) and pictures that i took from the pda. i tried the bluetooth feature exchanged photos, all is well. once ive made out most of the basics then ill move on to wifi and a bit more bluetooth :D. its one at a time for me. spend a lil time with your ux that'll help assisted by manuals and forums!! :D

Yeah, I'm sorry ('bout the ad :) ). I was just being silly.

I've been using the wi-fi here at work with much success. People 'round here just shake their heads, as if "poor guy. He's got another "toy" to play with (just recently upgraded my phone to a Motorola V400)." I can't help it, I'm addicted to gadgets and my UX50 is the ULTIMATE . . . so far. :D
