I have been reading through the recent rumors/announcents of Apples upcoming online music service, and noticed they will be using the AAC audio format. I've also noticed there is an "Avx AACDecoder" on the NX70. Does anyone know, or has anyone tried, can the clie play this format?

I don't see that on my NX. I have "Avx AT3Decoder" and "Avx MP3Decoder" in RAM.

you have it on your NX too. It is in rom.

I thought that was used in the movie recorder and movie player.

Most likely it is.. AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a big MPG4 audio codec. I think it was common in MPG2 as well (although probably improved for MPG4). It would make sense that the Movie Recorder/Player is the owner of this CODEC on the NX.

I just got an NX60 the yesterday, and I noticed that file and was wondering the exact same thing. I'm gonna play around with it a bit and see if I can get it to work. It would be pretty sweet if it did! :D
