I finally got a MS yesterday and it seems to be pretty cool.
However, I moved all my games to the MS and now I cant play them. Is this right?
Also, I cant seem to figure out how to use Import/Export. My pc isnt even seeing the MS. Is it bcuz I use a serial cable vs. USB?
Thanks for all help provided.

The programs/games need to be in the Palm/Launcher folder of the MS to be run. And, for the MS Import, first install the software on the computer. Then, plug your Clie into your computer and run the MS Import program on the Clie. The computer should detect the Clie and then you can open my computer and there will be a new removable drive, which is the Clie. You can then perform regular operations such as copy, delete, etc on the computer.
and check this (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2965) out.
I too am new to MS use. But have used a CF adapter on my Visor before this and still had to learn a few things by trial & error. Here's a few points:
1.) The MS is like having a small (removable) hard drive. But for files to be visible, they must be in the correct folder. For example, I put programs in the "Palm/Launcher/" directory, and I can run them directly from there. But mp3's go in a different folder called "Palm/Programs/MSAudio/", and pictures go in a directory called "Palm/Programs/Picturegear/".
2.) To access programs stored on the MS, look for a category in your applications launcher that matches the name of the MS. That's where you'll find them listed. There may be a way around this, but I don't yet.
3.) If you want to copy files directly to the MS, you can use either a MS reader, or the hotsync cable/PDA/MSImport. Essentially if you run MSImport while the Clie is in the hotsync cradle, you can see the MS from within Windows Explorer. So you can copy, move or delete files on the MS in the same way as if it were an extra drive on your computer. When you are done, be sure to hit the disconect button on the PDA screen.
4.) While you can copy MP3's directly to the MS in their native format, you can't do that with other files, such as pictures or movies. To put those on the MS, use a program on the PC called PictureGearLite (it comes on the CD-ROM w/ the SJ33). To use it, scroll through directories on your PC hard drive until you find the pictures &/or movies you want. You can hold the control key to select multiple files. Then select Files->Output Services->Output Clie Handheld Format File to MS. Note you need to have the MS visible to the PC, per note 3.) above. The files will automatically be converted to a format usable on the Clie. And they will go into the correct folders automatically.
There's more things I could explain, but I'm already pushing what I know (since most of this was learned through a week of use on my SJ33). There may be easier ways to do some of these things. But at least these tips have worked for me. Any more experienced users, please feel free to clarify, correct, or add to these comments.
You're a quick lerner for just a week that took me months.
