This is a review that makes me happy, because you can see one someone is objective and impartial checking the pros and cons in this unit (NZ90).

Good work Ryan Kairer.

I was just about to post a link to this! :-)

I like that review. Its nice. Very positive.

Its also good that as you say, he was impartial. Other reviewers always want to give you there own opinions and conclusions and why you shouldn't get it because you can get a NX and a seperate camera. All I want to know is does the NZ work as marketed, and how well all the features work ....

One thing mentioned in this review puzzles me:

"The lens has a focus range of 0.1 meter to infinity and is protected by a manual lens cover; there is also a macro mode for close up shots."

I can't find any mention of a macro mode in the documentation, nor do I see any way to invoke such a mode on the camera. Am I missing something?

The only place I can find a macro control is in the movie recorder - it's the button that looks like a flower. When I first saw it, I was stumped - why would they have it on the movie player rather than the camera? My Sony 5megapixel digital camera has the same macro button - so I looked for it on the NZ90 camera. Who shoots "macro" movies?

I think I'm missing something here.....

I appreciate the compliments folks, thanks!

As for the macro mode, it is indeed invoked with the flower icon, i don't have my review unit anymore so I can't confirm.
