Greetings Clie' People;
Funky Buddha here again
I'm trying to figure out what the best download or purchase would be to speed-up my entry speed for serious note taking as a Nursing student with my Peg NX70v.
I can use the keyboard with my thumbs-- or graffiti with the hunt-n-peck keys with the stylus- but trying to write "Cefloxosporin @ 2grm/200 Ml solution BID" for a prescription is just too hard with Graffiti!
SO- Should I use Tealscript, MYscript-Jot or what? Ive heard a few Pros/ Cons but would LOVE to Hear Your feed back !
What do all You folks Uese or like best?
Cheers; Funky _Buddha
PS: Im also on Palm Blvd-
but they Never answer Back!?!

Have you tried Graffiti Anywhere?

It was PC World or CNet that had a review not to long ago on handwriting recognition apps.

Call me stubborn and stuck in my ways, but I REALLY love Graffiti. I tried TealScript and Jot, and seem to always come back to Graffiti. It's simple, quick, and more accurate for me. I admit that symbols can be tricky, but with pop-up keyboards and shortcuts, it becomes a non-issue.

The first thing you need to determine is do you prefer "handwriting" or "Keyboard" entry. They both have their applications. "Keyboard" entry allows exact letter/symbol selection, while "handwriting" entry allows for true "heads-up" writing. By that, I mean that I can be looking at someone or something and still be writing effectivly using Graffiti. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to do that with an on-screen tappable keyboard. Is it 100% accurate? No. But it has proven itself countless times.

Another important tip, especially for someone like you, might be to leverage Graffiti's ShortCuts. By defining frequently-used complex words or symbols into easy-to-remember shortcuts, complex text can be just a few quick strokes away. Or consider one of the programs that automatically pops up word choices for you as you write/type. I forget the names, but these programs typically have user-definable word lists, and with some preparation, it could make writing easier.

Buddha- If you dont want to print out your notes, you can just handwrite them into Clie Memo application. Please try using this app. yOu can create different files, and name them that contain a lot of pages and that file is now called a book. check it out

I vouch for fitalyvirtual. keyboard looks a little funky at first but when you get used to it you'll wonder how your were able to live without it.
