I visited BestBuy and saw a price posted for the T3 of $299. Of course, they were out-of-stock and they could not order one for me or even give me a rain check. That price is only available over the internet with the store placing the order, go figure that one out. They said to come back in a couple of days and check to see if the wharehouse had some come in. It took about 4 visits but I was finally able to have them place the order on June 25 for the T3 at $299 with a delivery date of July 1, 2004. I noted that the $299 sign was no longer in sight but I was able to get that price. I figure that someone pulled that sign and took it to Circuit City or someother place to get them to price match.

wow, way to go! I love my T3 (I like my T2 better though) but you can't lose for that low a price. :)

i went with a PalmOne open box T3 for $288 that came with a free ultrathin keyboard. Haven't found anything wrong with it yet and it is brighter than my friend's brand new T3 so i got lucky

Funny, I feel the same way about my T2. I actually sold off my T3 and moved to a T2 full time. I use the machine with the slider closed 99% of the time, so the T2 form factor made more sense. I found myself opening the T3 slider just for the sake of opening it.
