Here is a unique concept and series of questions. Since the Xerox suit against Palm they have been pulling away from the Graffiti input system, and moving towards the new Graffiti 2 (licensed from CiC - who make the Jot input system) and thumboards on their models. Now in Japan, their models have a Graffiti area but don't really follow the rules of the Xerox Unistrokes system (a.k.a Graffiti), so here is my thought. Since the TG50 will most likely see a US release (there was only one Clie that didn't see a US release, a colorized version of the original body design), wouldn't be safe to assume that it would have Graffiti 2 instead of the Japanese Graffiti system? I may be looking into too much, but it leaves some interesting questions that we'll have to wait and see answered.

yes the tg50 implements the new palm text entry system (based on Jot 2)

I'm sorry to sound skeptical about your claim, but do you have an English language link or a translated Japanese site (not in "Engrish") that says it uses Graffiti 2?

nope but think about it. there is no hard graffiti pad (or VG) on the TG so how would it be able to use graffiti one?
