View Full Version : Which software updates for TH55/E?

I'll be getting a TH55/E (Euro model w/bluetooth). I just want to know if I should download and install just the updates from Sony Europe or Sony USA or both? Also, do these updates install themselves into the flashROM? If I ever do a hard reset, will I have to reinstall the updates? Thanks.

I've done a search, but the posts I've seen don't specifically say which updates I should use. So do I use both USA and European / UK updates on the TH55/E? Thanks.

The only update i've found for my TH55 (e2) is an update for clie organiser version 1.2
The WiFi update isn't available for the european version yet. You should download just for the E2....no matter what site. I used the links provided by sony when I installed Clie desktop.

b.t.w. the update will be installed in RAM....not in ROM. They have to be installed again when doing a hard reset.

I am looking for a TH55 w/Bluetooth. I have an NZ90 right now, and really want the TH55 w/Bluetooth. May I ask where you got it at? And how much? :) Thanks

As you can read on the left I'm coming from the Netherlands. Over here you can buy only 1 version....the version with both BT and WiFi. I paid around 400 Euro which is appr. 475 US dollar.
